Education: B.A. SMU; M.A. UT Austin (both degrees in English)

What did you do before you came to Keystone: I taught English Composition and Literature for San Antonio College (I had small children.)

Why do you like working here: I love the freedom to teach what our students need.  I enjoy eager, engaged learners.

Hobbies/pastimes: Reading (of course!) and gardening

Something (personal or professional) you’re proud of: Family

Favorite/inspirational book: So, so many!  A Gentleman in Moscow, All the Light We Cannot See, Educated, Pride and Prejudice, etc.

Ms. Elizando was Mohan's teacher as well. She is a phenomenol educator and a culturally eficacious person. Thank you for including novels from the diaspora such as "Things Fall Apart" and "Namesake" in your reading liost for students from diverse backgroundfs at Keystone.
