Third graders present Civil Rights Movement research

One of the most memorable parts of third grade is a research project on the Civil Rights Movement. The students focus on a specific incident, person or group of people who played a significant chapter in the struggle against discrimination.

This year, they structured their research in the form of a Science Fair project, with information mounted on three-fold cardboard displays.

This week, the third-graders set up displays and presented their results to second- and fourth-graders.
