Mohan Iyengar '16 works with bears, tigers, lions in India

Mohan Iyengar '16 is back at Texas A&M working on his pre-vet studies after spending a summer in India interacting with lions, tigers, bears and other animals.

He worked for 4 weeks as an intern at the Bannerghatta Nature Camp, which rescues animals and works against poachers. While there, he witnessed surgery on a tiger and fed bears. Mohan also interned with a rural vet in Hassan and traveled to different villages that the doctor had to visit each day to treat animals, mostly cows. Mohan also worked at the Goshala (Cowshed) at Shantikunj Dev Sanskrithi University in Haridwar with cow veterinarian.
