Tammie Cavanaugh calls Grenada, MS home but has lived in San Antonio twice since 1996 for a total of 15 years. She met her husband Mike, a native of Philadelphia, PA, while attending Mississippi State University. They have one son, Michael, in Keystone.
Tammie has enjoyed various careers including being a second, third, and fourth grade teacher, a web designer, and a business owner. Currently, Tammie works full time as Director, Assessment Process in the Assessment Development division of Educational Testing Service.
In the six years her son has been at Keystone, Tammie has served as VP of Fundraising, VP of Community, and now as the PTO President for the 2018-19 school year. When she’s not volunteering at Keystone, Tammie teaches kids on Sunday mornings at Grace Point Church and volunteers for various events like the annual Games for Life, an event she helped her brother start in San Antonio in 2011 to bring residents of long-term care facilities together for a day of Olympic-style events and fun.
Tammie looks forward to serving with a great team of volunteers on the Keystone Board of Trustees for the 2018-19 school year.
