Lauren Ferrero is an associate attorney at the international law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP, where her practice is devoted to public law and finance matters. Lauren primarily assists political subdivisions in the issuance of municipal securities and specializes in transactions involving partnerships between the public and private sector, special purpose entity/nonprofit corporation creation and governance, and conduit financings. She regularly serves municipalities, counties, school districts, investment banking firms, and major financial institutions in the capacity of bond counsel and underwriters’ counsel.
Lauren is extremely enthusiastic about contributing to the Keystone community and hopes to assist in furthering the future possibilities for all students as well as enhancing the school’s role in the San Antonio community. Lauren also serves on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas, the Advisory Council to the College of Public Policy at University of Texas at San Antonio, and is an active member of the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association, the Valero Alamo Bowl Committee, William S. Sessions Inns of Court, and Women in Public Finance – Texas Chapter.
Lauren received her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and her master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. She graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where she served as the Research and Articles Editor of the St. Mary’s Law Journal. Lauren is especially proud to be living and working in San Antonio, where she has resided since law school. In her spare time, Lauren loves attending major sporting events, yoga, spending quality time with her two rescue dachshunds, traveling, and learning to play golf.
